In every issue of West Virginia Family you will find articles, columns and regular departments that touch on all areas of family interest, including the family calendar of local activities, family health news, parenting tips, education, child safety, children’s book and product reviews, recreation, child care, home life, pregnancy, travel, fitness, finance, and more.

Writer’s Guidelines:  Audience:  Families, educators, caregivers.  Frequency:  Quarterly.  Distribution:  Over 350 highly visible distribution sites in 12 counties of North Central WV.  Circulation:  15,000.  The editorial deadlines in the chart above is the absolute final deadline for us to receive editorial submissions.  Please send complete ms.  We are looking for articles and tips on the topics provided above.  We are also looking for checklists related to the topics.  Word count needs to be between 500-800 words.  We pay up to $25 per article, depending on word count.  We also accept shorts on current events up to 100 words and must be material still current by the time the publication reaches the shelf.  One-time rights.  We accept reprints, but ask that we receive regional exclusivity.
